Google is gearing up to launch the Pixel 10 series, and the company has already confirmed an August 20 event for the unveiling. Weeks ahead of this event, the company has officially showcased what appears to be the Pixel 10 Pro, and the video shows the phone in a new colorway.
The colorway in question is thought to be called the "Moonstone" color, which appears to be blue-ish. This new teaser video has also shown off the side of the upcoming Google flagship, and it seems that the Pixel 10 phones will feature polished sides again.
As for the design, not much has really changed from the Pixel 9 Pro. The teaser video shows that the new Pro model will sport the same pill-shaped camera island on the back, which houses three sensors. Per recent leaks, the back will feature a 50 MP primary, a 48 MP ultrawide, and a 48 MP telephoto sensor. Among the three, telephoto is expected to support tele-macro photography, which would be a new addition to the smartphone.
Past reports have also hinted that the Pixel 10 Pro will see a battery upgrade, featuring a 4,870 mAh capacity with support for 29 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging (Anker 621 wireless power bank curr. $27.99 on Amazon). The screen size will reportedly stay the same, at 6.3 inches, giving the upcoming phone a relatively compact form factor.
Among the other expected features are Tensor G5 SoC, 16 GB of RAM, and up to 1 TB of storage. The Pixel 10 Pro is rumored to cost the same as the predecessor, and Google currently has an email-only offer, which will unlock on August 20.
