In May, GameSir launched the Nova 2 Lite wireless controller as its new budget multi-platform wireless controller. Available to buy in Luminous White and Midnight Gray, GameSir has now added a third color option.
The Nova 2 Lite is now available to buy in a new color called Champion Edition. The Nova 2 Lite Champion Edition arrives as a special edition to commemorate the victory of GameSir's brand ambassador, Xiaom Hai, who won the EWC 2025 Street Fighter 6 tournament. Xiao Hai is the first person in history to win the tournament twice.
The Nova 2 Lite Champion Edition has a gold faceplate that fades into black towards the handles. The back of the controller is also black just like the thumbsticks, D-pad, and ABXY buttons. Xiao Hai's name is also inscribed on the right side of the controller.
Save for the design, the Nova 2 Lite Champion Edition has the same features as the other two color options, although GameSir says the mechanical circular D-pad has been tuned by Xiao Hai. The Nova 2 Lite has Hall Effect joysticks with anti-friction rings, membrane ABXY buttons, mechanical bumpers, and two back buttons. The Hall Effect triggers have a switch that allows users to set them to long or short travel for racing and shooting games respectively.
The GameSir Nova 2 Lite controller connects via Bluetooth, USB wired, and 2.4GHz wireless (adapter included) and is compatible with Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PC. When used in wired or 2.4GHz wireless mode, the controller has a 1,000Hz polling rate. There's a 600mAh battery inside, and while owners can simply charge it with a USB-C cable, GameSir sells an optional dock called the Nova charger.
The Nova 2 Lite Champion Edition is available to buy now from GameSir's website for $34.99 which makes it more expensive than the white and gray colors that are available on Amazon for $29.99.
