Fitbit Charge 2 hits the US market
Fitbit Charge 2 has been around for a while, but now this fitness tracker is finally available for purchase on a global scale. Even more, a Special Edition Series is expected to hit the market just in time for the holiday shopping season, but we will talk about that one once it becomes official.
Fitbit Charge 2 features a vibration motor, altimeter, optical heart rate tracker, as well as one 3-axis accelerometer. It uses Bluetooth LE wireless technology to send smartphone notifications and to sync with more than 200 Android, iOS, and Windows devices.
Fitbit Charge 2 is priced at $149.95 USD, and the bands range from $29.95 USD to $69.95 USD. The retail package contains the tracker, a classic wristband, and a charging cable. Next to North America, the markets that get this smart wearable now are Europe, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and China. Next month, Japan, Latin America, and South Korea should receive it as well.
