Fi, also known as Barking Labs, Corp., has announced its latest Series 3 plus smart dog collar. The rugged collar tracks a dog's fitness, health, and location around-the-clock for peace of mind and proactive treatment of emerging health issues.
Dogs are living longer thanks to advanced feed and care, but medical bills and insurance remain expensive. The average cost of accident and illness insurance coverage for dogs in 2024 was $749.29 alone.
The Fi Series 3+ collar leverages AI technology to continuously track a dog's health. It monitors the amount of steps and sleep, meals and drinks, and licking and scratching that occurs each day. The health data can be exported as a report for vetinarians to use.
LED lights on the collar help owners spot their dogs quickly at night, while built-in GPS location and LTE-M cellular services enable quick recovery when they've escaped on a solo run across the city.
The Fi Series 3+ collar has an MSRP of $99 with a $20 activation fee to start the subscription service. The subscription can be billed at $99 biannually, $189 yearly, or $339 biennially. The collar can be purchased from the Fi website today and from the Fi Store on Amazon soon.
