Much about the Fairphone 6 appears to be already known ahead of its official unveiling. If the current leaks are accurate – and they do seem rather credible – then the device’s design, technical specifications and release date have all been revealed.
A countdown timer has now appeared on Fairphone’s official website, set to expire on 25 June at 11 am CET. A section of a white smartphone with a visible screw can be seen in the background. Those who have been following related news may recognise the device as the white variant of the Fairphone 6 from earlier leaks.
Fairphone 6 – What's known so far
Plenty of information on the Fairphone 6 is swirling in the rumour mill: It will reportedly cost €550 (making it €150 cheaper than its predecessor), feature a 6.31-inch LTPO P-OLED panel with a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120 Hz, and run on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.
Furthermore, the Fairphone 6 is expected to come with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash storage, with additional configurations likely. It appears to sport significantly thinner bezels than its predecessor, and the screen could be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The battery is said to boast a capacity of 4,415 mAh and support 33-watt charging. More coverage of these ongoing Fairphone 6 leaks can be found in the articles below.
