Deal | Epic Games Store releases new PC free game of the week in latest limited time deal
Epic Games has updated its free PC game of the week deal with a new title worth $19.99. For context, the storefront has been giving away Civilization VI: Platinum Edition since last Thursday, which includes numerous packs over the base game. As a result, Epic claimed that last week's deal was worth $79.99, although the base game can regularly be picked up for a heavy discount on PC (curr. $14.95 on Amazon).
The same is the case for Legion TD 2, this week's free game of the week. While the base game has been discounted from $19.99 to $0.00, Epic Games will seemingly continue to offer the Complete Edition with Floating Isles and Desert Ridge campaigns for $29.99. For reference, these two single-player and co-op campaigns can be purchased separately for $7.99 apiece.
As for Legion TD 2 itself, the game should run well on most systems that feature 16 GB of RAM, a modern quad-core Intel or AMD processor and a GPU equivalent to an RX 580 or GeForce GTX 1060. It is worth stressing that the game has received fairly mixed reviews from critics but a Very Positive average from over 7,000 reviews on Steam. Please see Epic Games' store listing for more details.
