Deal | Epic Games Store: New free game giveaways now available for Windows gamers but only for a limited time
The Epic Games Store has now updated its free game giveaway program with a new batch of titles. Rounding off September 2025, the storefront has decided to discount both Eastern Exorcist and Jorel's Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy from their MSRPs of $17.99 and $14.99, respectively, to $0.00 each.
As always, this week's giveaways will be free to claim for a full week. In other words, Eastern Exorcist and Jorel's Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy of the Galaxy can be added to your Epic Games library until October 2 at 15:00 UTC. Please note that Epic Games is only offering the Windows versions of these games, which support Xbox-style controllers like the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 (curr. $52.99 on Amazon).
Additionally, Jorel's Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy is the higher-rated of the two games with an 8.5/10 user score on Metacritic compared to just 5.7/10 for Eastern Exorcist on the same review aggregator. With that being said, Eastern Exorcist matches Jorel's Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy on Steam, where both have garnered Very Positive user ratings. Meanwhile, critics on OpenCritic and Metacritic rate Eastern Exorcist more highly with 76/100 and 73/100 averages, respectively.
