Reviews for the Cyberpower Fangbook EVO HX6-105
Source: Gaming Laptops Junky Archive.org version
Well, the HX6-105 is a good machine for $800 for gamers, as of now. Gaming performance is very good for $800 and you won’t find faster stuff as of the writing of these lines – same as the Y50, VN7-591G and other models with GTX 860M GPU, it also has some extra nice features like the nice backlit keyboard and additional storage bays. Touchpad and keyboard are good and looks are ok though maybe a bit outdated.

Model: Cyberpower has been busy establishing itself as one of the leading names in gaming laptops and has recently launched the Fangbook EVO series with one particular model called the HX6. Compared to other laptops produced by Cyberpower, this particular gaming laptop is relatively smaller, sporting measurements of 15.09 x 9.83 x 1.46 inches (38.33 x 24.97 x 3.71 cm). At the heart of this machine is an Intel Core i5 4210 M Haswell processor which comes packed with an equally impressive NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphics card with 2 GB VRAM.
It weighs around 2.4 kg, which is pretty standard for gaming laptops that share the same range of specs. The laptop design comes in a shiny smooth black finish with reddish orange borders around the keyboard panel. The keypad itself is considerably comfortable to use without any annoying drag or delay. It is lit from the back with the same reddish orange light that decorates the borders, as well as a sizeable touchpad. The 15.6 inch screen features a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and a glossy surface, which is ideal for dim room gaming.
There is an on-board RAM of 8 GB DDR3-1600, which can be expanded to 16 GB, as well as numerous add-ons like a HD webcam, HDMI output and 2 in 1 memory card reader. What makes it really stand out among its competitors is its extremely reasonable price tag, ideal for the budget conscious young adult.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M: Upper mid-range graphics card from the GeForce GTX 800M series.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
