The Yaber T1 Pro – a compact projector we previously covered – is now officially available for purchase at $159.99. For a limited time, a free 80-inch projection screen is included with every purchase, meaning customers don't need to spend extra on a proper screen or resort to using a wall as a projection surface. Weighing just 1.25 kg (3.27 lb), the device only offers a modest peak brightness of 220 ANSI lumens. Consequently, a well-darkened space is essential for a good viewing experience, especially when aiming for the projector's maximum 120-inch screen size. Naturally, the smaller the screen (down to its 40-inch minimum), the more light is projected per unit area.
Despite its fixed throw ratio of 1.18:1, the Yaber T1 Pro can project images onto sloped ceilings thanks to its built-in gimbal. Besides the ability to avoid obstacles, it features autofocus, auto keystone correction and auto screen alignment to simplify the setup process. According to Yaber, the projector offers a 1080p native resolution, delivering reasonably sharp visuals depending on the screen size. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, and runs on a Linux-based operating system, allowing users to stream content directly from services like Netflix and YouTube without an external media player, as well as wirelessly mirror their smartphone or tablet screens. Additional features include an 8-watt audio system and an ambient lighting mode.
