Those who want to remap the Bixby button of their Galaxy Note 9 can do it thanks to the latest update received by the bxActions - Bix Button Remapper app for Android, which now sports full support for Samsung's latest high-end phablet. Thanks to this app, the Bixby button can be used to perform over 30 actions.

The Bixby button is, without any doubt, a useful addition to the Samsung handsets that have it. However, there are also quite a few users who would like to be able to remap this button and use it for various other tasks instead of the default Bixby-related functions.

Before Bixby 2.0 arrived, those who wanted to disable the Bixby button on the Galaxy Note 9 were able to do so. Unfortunately, it all changed and there is no official explanation for this yet. Thankfully, bxActions has just been updated to support the remapping of the Bixby button on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

In addition to being able to simply disable the Bixby button, the bxActions - Bix Button Remapper Android app comes with support for mapping of single, double, and long press actions. The list of supported choices includes the ability to launch Google Assistant, toggle the flashlight, switch to the last app, quickly take screenshots or bring up the camera, and so on. According to the Google Play page of this app, bxActions supports over 30 such actions to be associated with the Bixby button.

As you probably figured out already, bxActions now supports virtually all Samsung handsets that feature a Bixby button. If you're already using this app, let us know what you think about it in the comments section. If not, maybe the time has come to take it for a spin.
