Atomos, known for its external camera monitors, has expanded its lineup with the StudioSonic professional-grade headphones, designed for monitoring audio on shoots, mixing tracks in the studio, and other situations requiring neutral sound reproduction.

Atomos has unveiled the StudioSonic production headphones at NAB 2025. The neutral sound profile of the headphones is designed for accurate recording and mixing. The headphones are priced at $199 and can be pre-ordered today for shipment in May 2025.

The StudioSonic headphones use large 50 mm drivers that have a frequency response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz with a 105 dB sensitivity at 30 ohms impedance. The wide frequency response allows users to hear the extended details of their high-resolution music mixes.

The drivers are encased in closed-back, over-the-ear earcups for passive external noise isolation. A cushioned headband and memory foam earcups enable hours of comfortable wear.

Whether in the studio or on set, the earcups swivel 180 degrees to allow for one-ear monitoring of the live sound. The detachable 2 meter (6.6 ft.) coiled cable can be replaced if damaged. The cable terminates with 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm plugs for wide compatibility with audio devices such as sound recorders.
