Asus has showcased a new docking station at Computex 2025, the ROG Bulwark Dock DG300. At the core, it's a 7-in-1 USB-C accessory that's meant to pair well with Asus's ROG Ally gaming handheld PCs. However, the company is positioning it as a universal dock, which means it can be paired with other handhelds as well (Legion Go curr. $584.04 on Amazon).
Design-wise, the docking station has the same theme as most of the other ROG-branded products, with RGB lights and support for the Aura Sync software. It features an aluminum top, while the bottom is made of plastic. The interesting aspect of the dock is the flip cover, which can be set anywhere from 0 to 90 degrees, which should allow users to easily secure their gaming handheld on the top.
Given the flexibility of this flip cover, it seems that the dock will also be able to hold a smartphone or tablet on top. Moreover, users have the freedom to use it like a regular dock by connecting it to a USB-C port of a laptop or PC. Speaking of which, the port configuration of the ROG Bulwark Dock is as follows:
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 downstream Type-C
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 upstream Type-C
- 1x 3.5 mm audio
The upstream USB Type-C port supports 100 W PD, and Asus says that the Bulwark Dock can intelligently adjust the power demands of the connected devices. Among the three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one can offer a stable 7.5 W of power output, and all are rated for 10 Gbps transfer speed. There's no word on when this accessory will be available, and Asus has yet to reveal its pricing details.
