Apple iPhone 6s could be available by this September

It was just a few days ago where sources from within Foxconn claimed that production on the iPhone 6s was already well under way. Numerous rumors have popped up regarding the hardware and specifications on the new model, but none have pinpointed a specific launch date. Rough estimates have claimed an August or September time frame.

Now, more leaks from Foxconn are suggesting a September 18 launch date for the iPhone 6s. If true, this would correlate well with previous iPhone launch dates as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launched on September 19, while the iPhone 5s launched on September 20 just a year earlier. All these dates also happen to land on a Friday.

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be officially revealed at least a week before launch during a keynote, the anonymous Foxconn sources claim. Of course, a full week before the supposed September 18 launch date would be September 11, and this announcement timing may be considered a poor move for the U.S. market.
