Anker has launched a new Zolo USB-A to USB-C Cable in Europe. Available in two sizes, 1 m (3.3 ft) and 1.8 m (6 ft), this new model joins the existing Anker Zolo USB-C to USB-C Cable (3.3 ft/6 ft, 240W, Braided) products, which were launched in 2024.
The Zolo USB-A to USB-C cable, also known as model A8052, is said to be designed for ‘seamless CarPlay’. It allows you to navigate, listen to music or take calls while driving, and simultaneously charges your phone. The cable delivers up to 18W power, and can also be used for file transfers with a 480 Mbps data transfer rate. This USB-IF certified product is said to be able to withstand over 12 kg (~26 lbs) tension and over 10,000 bends. Available in black or white, the 48-strand braided outer is said to make the cable soft and smooth. Plus, it has an ‘ultra-thin’ aluminum USB-C connector, measuring 10 x 5.8 mm (~0.4 x 0.2 inches).
You can now buy the 1 m and 1.8 m versions of the Anker Zolo USB-A to USB-C Cable (1 m/1.8 m, Braided) in European countries like the UK and Germany for £9.99/€11.99 and £10.99/€12.99, respectively. A recent report suggests that these products are also on the way to the US, launching in this market later this year. Here, the Anker Zolo USB-A to USB-C Cable (1 m, Braided) is expected to retail for $11.99. This would make it more expensive than the Anker Zolo USB-C to USB-C Cable (3 ft, 240W, Braided), which is available for $8.99 at Amazon; it is the same case with the European pricing.
