Anker has been on a roll with new charging accessory releases lately. To recap, the company has released 140W and 160W charging adapters with digital displays, and more recently, a 3-in-1 charging stand with Qi2 25W support and a touch display (curr: $172.49 with Amazon Prime).
Now, the company is back with a new 100W GaN charger that pairs a smart power display with three ports at a more affordable price point and even more compact footprint. Interestingly, this new model appears to have the same design and specifications as the Anker Smart Display Charger Lite that launched in China back in May. That said, buyers can purchase the Anker Charger (100W, 3 Ports, Smart Display) with a bundled 4.9 ft USB-C to USB-C cable for $59.99 on Amazon, thanks to a $10 launch discount.
The Anker Charger (100W, 3 Ports, Smart Display) has three charging ports, like its name suggests: two 100W USB-C ports and one 33W USB-A port. It can power up to three devices simultaneously, with intelligent power distribution ensuring each device charges at its optimal speed.
When charging a single device, either USB-C port can deliver the full 100W output. The power is split to 70W and 30W, 67W and 33W, or 95W and 5W when two devices are connected, and to 80W, 12W, and 7.5W when all three ports are in use. In any case, users get enough power to juice up a laptop plus other devices at the same time. In addition, the charger includes an auto low-power mode that limits the USB-A output to 5W for low-power devices like earbuds.
Another highlight is the built-in digital display. As with the 160W version, the screen can show the charging status, real-time power output for each port, temperature monitoring, and even display fun animated visuals. The adapter measures 2.72 x 2.17 x 1.34 inches and weighs just 7.47 ounces. It also features foldable prongs, making it easy to pack in a bag or pocket for travel. The charger is currently available in black, with a gray version expected to launch soon.
