Ampsos is offering a new power bank that is relatively compact given its capabilities. It supports solar charging, delivers enough power to properly charge laptops, and comes equipped with a display, multiple output options and integrated cables.

Ampsos is running a Kickstarter campaign for its "5-in-1 25,000 mAh Laptop-grade Power Bank Hub with Solar Boost". As with any crowdfunding campaign, potential backers should carefully review the shipping terms and be mindful of the inherent risks, such as the possibility that the product may not ship at all or meet expected quality standards. Prices currently start at $109, with shipping projected to begin in November 2025.

Boasting a capacity of 25,000 mAh (or 90 Wh), the device complies with airline regulations and can be carried in hand luggage. It features three USB-C outputs, each capable of delivering up to 100 watts, ample for charging laptops; two of those ports even have built-in cables. Other I/O options include a USB-A port supporting 33-watt charging and a 3-watt wireless charging pad. The hub can deliver up to 170 watts of total output. Ampsos has provided diagrams illustrating the maximum output of each port under various power distribution scenarios.

Measuring 175 x 55 x 51.6 mm (6.89 x 2.17 x 2.03 in) and weighing 600 g (1.32 lb), the Ampsos power hub is relatively compact for its feature set. It is fitted with a 1.3-inch OLED display and supports recharging at up to 100 watts, along with 36-watt solar charging thanks to its integrated MPPT controller.
