Acer has introduced its next-generation Swift Go 16 AI laptop at Computex 2025 in Taiwan. To recall, Acer introduced the Swift Go 16 last year at CES 2024 with a choice between Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Core Ultra 7 155H processors. By contrast, the latest variant comes with more powerful Lunar Lake CPUs. More specifically, the Swift Go 16 AI is powered by a recently released Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 258V or Intel Core Ultra 5 processor 228V, both of which are Intel AI-capable, featuring 47 and 40 TOPS NPU, respectively.
The processor is paired with Intel Arc 140V integrated graphics, up to 32 GB of RAM, and up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. Acer offers two display options for the Swift Go 16 AI: a 16-inch OLED display that outputs at a resolution of 2048 x 1280 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and a 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage, which should be suitable for content creation.
Dimensionally, the laptop measures 355.5 x 250.64 x 15.99 mm (13.9 x 9.86 x 0.62 inches) and weighs around 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs). Furthermore, Acer packs all standard port options into the laptop, including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two Thunderbolt 4, a micro-SD card reader, an HDMI, and a micro-SD card reader.
The rest of the highlights include a 64 Wh battery, an FHD (1080p) IR webcam, two speakers with DTS X Ultra support, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and the inclusion of new AI capabilities, such as Acer Purified Voice 2.0, Acer Purified View 2.0, Acer Assist, and Acer Sense.
Available in aluminum and titanium gray colorways, the Acer Swift Go 16 AI starts at €1,299 and will be available in Europe in August 2025.
