Acer has refreshed the Swift X 14 creator laptop at Computex 2025 with the latest internals from Intel and Nvidia. Last year, the company introduced the Swift X 14 (SFX14-72G) at CES 2024 with the then-latest Core Ultra 100H Meteor Lake CPUs and RTX 40 laptop GPUs. In 2025, Acer is building the Swift X 14 (SFX14-73G) around the Core Ultra 200H Arrow Lake mobile CPUs and the RTX 50 laptop GPUs.
On the highest-end model, the new Acer Swift X 14 (SFX14-73G) features the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, and up to an RTX 5070 laptop GPU. Lower-end options start with the Core Ultra 5 225H and the Core Ultra 7 255H. These chips are paired with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. Users can also upgrade the storage thanks to two M.2 slots.
Moving around the front, Acer has outfitted the Swift X 14(SFX14-73G) with a 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED panel. The display is touch-capable, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, and boasts a 16:10 aspect ratio. Acer claims that the OLED panel is Calman-verified, features 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and 340 nits of brightness. On top of the display, there is an FHD webcam with an IR blaster for Windows Hello and two microphones.
So, the panel is a perfect fit for content creators and media watchers alike.
Acer has also refreshed the looks of the new Swift X 14. The sleek Aluminum chassis now incorporates a larger trackpad. However, the port selection remains the same with:
- Two Thunderbolt 4 ports
- Two Type-A connectors
- One HDMI out
- A 3.5 mm audio jack
- A microSD card reader
- A Kensington lock port
Finally, a large 74 Wh battery powers the Acer Swift X 14. It remains to be seen if Acer has managed to improve the runtimes of the laptop over the last-gen Swift X 14 (SFX14-72G).
The new Swift X 14 (SFX14-73G) and the Swift X 14 AI will be available in July, at a starting price of EUR 1,999 (~$2,242).
