If you're in the market for a budget tablet you can share with children, I'm sorry to say it, but Acer has missed the mark with the Iconia One 7. Yes, the processor is speedy, but almost everything else I can think to say about the tablet is no better than average. The Tesco Hudl 2 may have an equally poor camera, but with a better and bigger screen, it's still the tablet of choice at this end of the market.

The Acer Iconia One B1-730HD is a simple yet capable tablet that will satisfy the budget user. At first glance, the device has a fundamental bar form with black glossy border and textured back. Physical buttons are kept minimal with only the power and volume rockers at the side. The Android Jelly Bean tablet comes equipped with an Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor clocked at 1.60 GHz, PowerVR SGX544 graphics processor and 1 GB RAM.
The internal storage on the Acer Iconia One 7 B1-730HD is 16 GB and users can use a microSD card to add another 32 GB. All the mentioned specification is tucked behind a 7 inch Active Matrix TFT LCD with LED backlight technology display which has very good picture quality especially for the price point.
The tablet also comes with stereo speakers and this makes entertainment playback a pleasure. Images and video can be captured using the 5 megapixel primary rear camera or the secondary front facing camera. The 11.64 oz (330 g) tablet has a 1-cell lithium polymer battery rated at 3680 mAh. Needless to say, the Acer Iconia One 7 B1-730HD has very good battery life with the ability to play video for 7.50 hours straight.
PowerVR SGX544MP2: OpenGL ES 2.0 compatible with 8 pixel and 4 vertex shaders
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

Intel Atom: The Intel Atom series is a 64-Bit (not every model supports 64bit) microprocessor for cheap and small notebooks (so called netbooks), MIDs, or UMPCs. The speciality of the new architecture is the "in order" execution (instead of the usual and faster "out of order" execution). Therefore, the transistor count of the Atom series is much lower and, thus, cheaper to produce. Furthermore, the power consumption is very low. The performance per Megahertz is therfore worse than the old Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz on par with a 1.6 GHz Atom).
Z2560: SoC with an integrated dual-core Atom based CPU clocked at 0.9 - 1.6 (short bursts), a 400 MHz PowerVR SGX 544MP2 graphics card, and a dual channel LPDDR2 memory controller.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

Since 2007, the group has merged with Gateway Inc. and Packard Bell, which also market their own laptop product lines.
Acer computers are designed for a variety of purposes, including ultrabooks for mobile use, gaming laptops for gamers, affordable options for everyday tasks, and 2-in-1 convertible laptops for versatility. Acer's product portfolio also includes tablets that offer portable computing and multimedia capabilities.
50%: This rating is bad and very rare. There are only a few models that are rated so poorly. If the source is reputable, then a purchase is probably not advisable.
