Deal | Intel Core i9-12900K gets 20% discount on Amazon

Although it arrived back in November 2021 with a launch price of US$599, the Intel Core i9-12900K had a nearly outrageous list price on Amazon one year later. In December, the world's leading online retailer had this processor with a price tag label that read no less than US$707.50. Towards the end of that month, it got a 41% discount that pushed the price down to US$416.99. Now, the list price has dropped to a noticeably lower value, but with the help of a lower discount of just 20%.

The aforementioned discount takes the US$439.99 list price of the Intel Core i9-12900K desktop processor down to a quite tempting US$354.05. Although over a year old now, this processor is quite flexible, providing support for both DDR4 and DDR5 memory. However, those who are planning to buy it should keep in mind that it doesn't come with a bundled cooling solution, being an unlocked and overclokable chip with a TDP of 125 W that will go even higher once pushed above the stock frequencies.

The only bundle deal listed on the Amazon page for the Intel Core i9-12900K places it next to the Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX motherboard. The bundle comes with a 17% discount, down to US$614.04 from a list price of US$746.38. However, those who want to go with the DDR4 version of the aforementioned motherboard to keep the memory costs in check can get it for a list price of US$249.99.
