iPad 3 could feature Siri, and a better processor
According to some reports Apple intends to introduce a successor to the iPad2 which is one of the best selling tablets in the world. Officially, Apple has not revealed anything about the new hardware and software packed with the iPad 3, neither any date proposing its release in the market.
DigiTimes, a Taiwanese publication has also quoted that it’s in the supply chain and the first units might arrive within the next three to four months. However with all these predictions and speculations, the actual plan of Apple still remains opaque. But there are a few possibilities that the new Apple iPad 3 may be featuring:
Retina Display: It is speculated by many along with the blog 9to5Mac. It says that Apple is planning on some higher resolution display for the next iPad, which is expected to be of the same quality of the retina display currently available later model iPhones.
Siri: The new digital assistant from Apple which has been circulating on the new iPhone4S. There are rumors saying Apple planning to build the same for television sets which are scheduled for launch either in late 2012 or early 2013. So we can also believe the technology will be arriving in the iPad too.
Improved Camera: As the iPhone 4S is equipped with the 8MP camera so we can speculate the next iPad to having a Camera of the same quality or may even be of higher quality.
More Powerful Processor: it is also expected to be equipped with a powerful chip which is possible with the high resolution screen.
Screen Size: Earlier Steve jobs had clarified his views towards making a 7inch tab, which according to him was not a capable of giving the full user experience. But now Apple seems to be thinking of making a 7inch tablet after the popularity of the Kindle Fire Tablets. However, this next tablet might probably be of the same size as before, but it is quite unsure about the next device they plan to design.
The iPad 3 might also be a bit bulkier than the earlier devices as the device gets more powerful with some enhancements. However all these are speculations so to get sure about them we need to wait till its release.
