Apple will launch two new iPads in January

Most of us were waiting for a new iPad in 2012, but for our surprise Apple has declared the launch of two iPads in January 2012. The models are scheduled to be launched at a press conference. Unexpectedly Apple has declared these models much earlier than what most of us has thought of.

The two iPads will be priced in different range for the buyers; most probably one will be in the mid-range while the other one will be a high-end model. The press conference they are scheduled to be launched is called as the iWorld event or Macworld to be held on 26^th of January 2012 in San Francisco.

The price of the iPad 2 will be kept lower most probably to compete with Amazon Kindle Fire. The new models will have a 9.7 inch screen instead of the 7.85inch screen which was predicted by some sources earlier. They are also said to be powered by an A6 processor and the screens will be providing a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.

The models will have different image sensors which will differentiate from each other. One of the models will have an 8 megapixel CMOS image sensor, while the other one will have a 5 megapixel sensor.

A new Dual LED light bars for improvement in the brightness of the panels is also added in these models. Samsung is manufacturing new A6 quad-core processor and they are supplying 5 megapixel camera sensor. The 8megapixel camera sensor would presumably be provided by Sony. The 8MP camera will probably be the same as provided in the iPhone 4S.

With the help of Simplo Technology and Dynapack International Technology, Apple’s new devices will run on high capacity 14,000mAh batteries that are expected to provide twice as life as early batteries provided. The prices of the devices are to be unveiled at the launch itself.
