New iPad 3 specs leaked: HD screen, faster processor and next-gen Wireless connectivity

Teaser
The iPad 3 has just been on its way for release and will be sporting a more powerful processor and a high resolution screen

There is rumor again that the next iPad will sport a high definition screen, and will also run on a powerful processor. It will also be taking the next step into next generation wireless networks. A new source also added that a quad-core chip will be powering the tablet.

This quad core chip will enhance the speed and will let users jump more quickly between applications.

The display will be offering a very high resolution which might be about four times the current resolution of the iPad2. It will have a resolution above a few HD televisions according to a source from Bloomberg. An additional graphics card will also enhance the video quality and will be able to play the videos instantly.

This introduction of the iPad 3 will be a major release from Apple since the death of the company’s co-founder Steve Jobs. According to another source, as reported by Bloomberg Apple has been working on making the iPad compatible with a wireless standard called LTE.

Other manufacturers like Samsung, Motorola Mobility Holdings and Nokia has already released devices capable of supporting LTE. As reported by Bloomberg, Apple has brought the LTE to iPad before iPhone because the tablet has a larger battery and can easily support its power requirements.

However Apple’s spokeswoman Natalie Kerris told Bloomberg that the company won’t like to comment about any rumors and leaks. The production of the tablet has been pushed forward in Asia, with the factories running 24 hours a day.
