Apple released their new iPhone 5s and 5c last week, and it's now time for the official launch of their latest version of iOS. With three months of beta releases under its belt, the redesigned iOS 7 is finally set for public consumption.
The 728MB download brings with it a complete overhaul engineered by designer Jony Ive, including new app icons, a lighter color scheme and deeper Siri integration. New features also include Apple's streaming iTunes Radio service, a Control Center that swipes up from the bottom, new Safari functions and improved notifications and multitasking.
iOS 7 supports a variety of Apple devices, including the iPhone 4+, the iPad 2+, the iPad Mini and the 5th-generation iPod Touch. Users looking to upgrade can do so immediately through iTunes or over-the-air, but as always, a solid backup is a smart idea.
