iOS 7.1 could be coming next month

Teaser
First major update to iOS 7 could be slotted for a release next month.

Though iOS 7 has been available for close to half a year now, Apple has yet to release any major updates to their newest mobile operating system. That isn't for a lack of trying though, as 5 beta versions of iOS 7.1 have already been released, and a final product may be just around the corner.

According to 9to5mac's sources, iOS 7.1 will be made publicly available next month, with no beta releases expected till then. The update isn't expected to include any extreme changes, though certain theme elements have been tweaked. In addition, iOS 7.1 should bring with it improvements to the Phone and Calendar apps along with various bug fixes and stability improvements.

While iOS 7.1 evidently won't be a huge overhaul, Apple could be planning to unveil it at an event next month according to the same sources. That event, though so far unscheduled, could also bring with it news of the new Apple TV and we'll have to see what the folks at Cupertino have in store.
