Haylou has announced the RS4, another affordable smartwatch by the company. The RS4 features a 1.78-inch AMOLED display, a GPS module and is IP68 certified. The 45 mm smartwatch should last up to 25 days on a single charge of its battery, too.

Haylou has released a successor to the RS3, the appropriately called RS4. While the RS3 has a round display, Haylou has opted for a squircle-shaped one this time around. Inescapably, the Haylou RS4 resembles an Apple Watch, with Haylou even including a circular button to mimic Apple's Digital Crown.

The RS4 has a much larger display than its predecessor, which measures 1.78-inches. Also, the AMOLED panel resolves at 368 x 448 pixels and sits within a 45.2 x 37.2 x 11.1 mm chassis. According to Haylou, the RS4 is IP68 certified and has a built-in GPS module, making it ideal as a cheap smartwatch to wear when exercising.

To that end, the RS4 contains numerous pre-installed exercise modes, along with SpO2 and heart rate sensors. Apparently, the smartwatch's 230 mAh battery should keep it ticking over for up 10 days between charges, or 25 days if you use it sparingly. For reference, the RS4 is compatible with Android and iOS via the Haylou Fun app.

The Haylou RS4 is available to order on AliExpress for US$49.60. The retailer only sells the smartwatch in one colour, but it supports replaceable watch straps. Incidentally, the RS4's price will drop to US$39.68 on November 11 during AliExpress' 11.11 sale.
