CES 2017 | Xiaomi: The Mi Note 2 was shown in three more colors
Not only Samsung got into the habit of releasing new fresh color options for older smartphones in an attempt to spark sales, Xiaomi recently did the same thing during CES 2017. Not only did they release a white version of the Mi Mix, which you can also see in real life pictures from the Xiaomi stand at CES 2017 further down below, Xiaomi also showed colorful new options for the Mi Note 2, a powerful high-end phone with a modem capable of connecting on 22 LTE-bands worldwide in its international version, a first for Xiaomi.
As you can see on the pictures, Xiaomi introduced a green, purple and pink version of the Mi Note 2. Like the white Mi Mix, they are technically identical to the regular versions. Even though the Mi Note 2 does have an international modem, you will still not be able to buy it from regular retailers in the US anytime soon according to Hugo Barra, VP of Xiaomi International, who confirmed during CES 2017, that Xiaomi is not planning to expand their phone business into the US this year.

And here you can see some more real life pictures of the white Mi Mix at the Xiaomi stand at CES this year. We had the phone over for a test recently and were very happy with its performance and the great display, however it may prove to be too difficult to operate outside of China for most users at the moment. Take a look at our test, before you decide to get one directly from China.
