Reviews for the Xiaomi Poco C71
Source: 91mobiles

The POCO C71 is currently retailing for Rs 6,499 for the 4GB+128GB variant and Rs 7,499 for the 6GB+128GB variant. Its key competitor at this price is the itel A80 (review) — a decent budget device that offers better cameras and a higher IP rating. So, if those are your priorities, the itel A80 might be the better fit. The POCO C71’s strengths lie in its large display, attractive design, and smooth performance that minimises lag and offers a fluid, engaging user experience. For budget devices, being swift and responsive is often more valuable, as it helps the phone remain usable even after future software updates. However, its camera quality and slow charging speed are trade-offs worth keeping in mind. If you’re on a strict budget and want a reliable device that performs well, stays lag-free, and looks good while doing it, the POCO C71 is hard to beat.

In the Poco C71 review, it isn’t a bad option if you want a budget smartphone. It gives a long battery life, solid build quality, and display performance. Even with its gaming and low-light imaging struggles, it’s worth its price. The phone is perfect for students and media consumers and is great for first-time smartphone users. However, if you are hardcore gamers, you might be disappointed. The lack of advanced gaming capabilities stems from the inability to utilize demanding games. Additionally, if you need 5G capabilities, you’ll have to look at other options, as this phone only has 4G. There are a few phones you can compare it with, like Redmi 12C, Realme C55, Samsung Galaxy M04, Tecno Spark 10 Pro etc. This comparison will help you to make a better buying decision.

The POCO C71 is an entry-level budget 4G smartphone priced under ₹6,500, which makes it extremely budget-friendly. The base variant with 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, priced at ₹6,499, is much lighter on your pocket. Another variant with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage is priced at ₹7,499. At this price, the POCO C71 has much to offer, including a large 6.88-inch 120 Hz screen with TÜV Rheinland certifications, Wet Touch Display for responsive touch even in light rain or with wet hands, premium-looking flat frame design with IP52 rating, a larger 5,200 mAh battery, clutter-free Android 15 experience, and enough RAM and storage (6 GB + 128 GB) for its class. If you are low on budget and want an entry-level Android, the POCO C71 is ideal.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

78%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
