The Elfin is a compact 1080p projector, measuring 194.19 x 192.1 x 48.31 mm (~7.65 x 7.56 x 1.90-in). The gadget can throw images up to 200-in (~508 cm) wide with a 1.2:1 throw ratio and MEMC motion smoothing technology. A lamp with a 25,000-hour life expectancy delivers up to 800 ANSI lumens brightness, and the gadget is compatible with formats including HDR10 and HLG. The device boots in around six seconds, and XGIMI’s Intelligent Screen Adaptation (ISA) feature can quickly optimize the picture, reducing set-up time. Other tools include auto keystone correction, autofocus and intelligent obstacle avoidance.
The XGIMI projector has a pair of 3W Harman Kardon speakers, supporting DTS:HD and Dolby Audio, and Android TV allows you to download various streaming apps such as Disney+, Prime Video and Hulu. You can also cast content to the device from a smartphone or tablet via Google Chromecast. Input ports include HDMI eARC and USB, and Game Mode Boost reduces latency to 26.5 ms.
