Wiko Y80

The Wiko Y80 is a budget smartphone which has a lot to feature. Users can entertain themselves on a large HD+ widescreen for a full day of top multimedia experience. As far as the design is concerned, it has a selection of a gradient dark blue, green or full gold colour. It has a removable back, which is not commonly seen these days. The Y80 can become a user’s best ally to play casual games, watch movies and run their favourites apps with its octa-core processor. Since users never run out of things to share, they will delight in going with a 16GB ROM and storage expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card. Users can maximize what they see with the Y80’s supersized HD+ screen in a handy 18:9 format. The screen also has an ultra-resistant printed tempered glass designed for full-screen protection. It has good brightness and viewing angles, which is good if users need to use the device outdoors. Aside from that, it has face recognition, which enables unlocking and more secured actions with just one look.

As for the camera, users can endow their photographic talents with the Y80’s smart dual rear camera. A 13MP resolution combined with a 2MP sensor allows users to create artistic creative background blur pictures. The additional 2MP sensor offered on the Y80 enables more depth. The camera can enrich any shot with an AI-Artistic blur mode touch, which is the best secret tip to impress. Alone, between besties or with friends, users can shoot the brightest selfies with the 5MP front flash camera. As for the battery, if users are tired of checking how much of the smartphone's battery is left, the Y80 features a 4000mAh battery  that will not let users down - it can power up to more than one day of intensive use. Furthermore, users can balance their personal and professional life on one device with the Dual-SIM feature. In conclusion, the Wiko Y80 is a basic smartphone ideal for users who are on a tight budget, running non-resource demanding apps, or looking for a secondary phone. It has all the features required of a smartphone with a strong battery, but it will not break the bank.

The Wiko might not be the mainstream brand, but it does have massive popularity in the Europan entry-level market. Recently, the company released the Wiko Y52 smartphone with some budget-friendly specs and the expected price of the phone is around $210 (Rs 14,999) approx. The phone equips a pretty standard display without any specific features, but the 5-inches TN display brings decent colors and contrast. Although, the bezels are quite thick compared to the competition. As for the performance, the phone comes with an ultra-budget-friendly Unisoc SC9832E that is powered by the 1.4 GHz Quad-core processor and MaliT820 GPU. Alongside this, you will get a 1GB RAM that is accompanied by the 16GB storage and offers a microSD card slot too. In terms of the software end, you are getting the simple layout of the Android 11 Go edition that unveils average customization. On the other hand, a 5MP main camera captures 720p videos and provides a VGA selfie camera. It might not have that many camera features, but the Wiko Y52 smartphone brings a 2020mAh battery capacity that gives two days’ worth of standby time

Wiko SAS was founded as a French smartphone manufacturer in 2011. Since 2014, the Chinese technology group Tinno Mobile has owned a majority of Wiko. They produce in China. The company has already reached a considerable market share in the French market in early years and expanded to Europe and Africa later on. Nevertheless, the world market share is low.

Reviews are only available since 2014, that is since the first international expansion. Recently, the number of reviews has increased. The ratings are average (as of 2016).

These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

Imagination PowerVR GE8100: Integrated graphics card for entry level ARM SoCs. Smallest variant of the Series8XE series of GPUs (GE8xx0) with a peak fillrate of only one pixel/clock.
