The HP Touchpads are hitting the market once again, but only with a limited stock. This time it is offered by the Walmart at a price of $149, but only if you are willing to buy a laptop with it. The offer says you need to buy any HP laptop and you can get an HP TouchPad with it for $149.
However it does not mean you need to get an expensive laptop for the tablet. Currently the cheapest laptop from HP comes at around $348. So you can get the laptop and the TouchPad for $497. So, the people who wouldn’t spend $499 to $599 earlier on the product can really try the tablet and a laptop for about the same price. If you want to go for a laptop at a higher range it is obviously possible.
The HP Touchpad was earlier offered for $99 after it faced a disappointing sale rate. But after the reduced price whole of the stock was cleared within a few days. The production of the tablet is closed by the mid-August.
It has turned out that this model is now also running on early Android OS’s from Google. The tablet runs on WebOS 3.0 and has a 32GB of storage.
