Vodafone releases Smart Ultra 6 smartphone in Ireland

The flagship model has already been launched in the UK, and now it has made its way to Ireland.

Vodafone's Smart Ultra 6 smartphone has already released in the UK, and now the handset has arrived in Ireland. Though a flagship phone, the Smart Ultra 6 offers a good amount of value for its price. Some standout features of the device include in-plane switching for better colors and viewing angles in the display as well as a remarkable 3000mAh battery allowing for two days of use before needing a charge.

The Smart Ultra 6 packs some nice technology into its 8.35mm thin case, namely the full HD display with 1920x1080 resolution. It features an eight-core Qualcomm processor as well as 2GB of RAM. Unlike some smartphones that have been releasing with Android 4.4 lately, the Smart Ultra 6 comes with Android 5.0.2 installed. 16GB expandable storage up to 128GB is standard, as are the 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

Overall, the phone has received positive reviews, and has great bang-for-the-buck. Though the features may not seem particularly outstanding compared to other flagship smartphones, the device costs the equivalent of $180. For an octal-core processor, a nice display, and Android's latest OS, there is a lot of value to be found with the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6.
