One of the best things about USB-C Power Delivery is you can use just about any USB-C charger should you happen to lose the ones that shipped from the original manufacturers. This third-party solution can output up to 100 W to quick charge most smartphones and laptops.

Baseus has just launched two 100 W USB-C AC adapters capable of charging a wide variety of devices ranging from smartphones to tablets, Nintendo Switch consoles, controllers, and even laptops so long as they support USB-C Power Delivery.

The first model is an extra-small (~6.5 x 5.5 x 3 cm) adapter with just a single USB-C port. It comes with retractable AC prongs to be more portable and even more powerful than the USB-C adapters that ship with most laptop makers. The second "Pro" model is a slightly larger (~8.5 x 5.5 x 3 cm) adapter with 2x USB-A and 2x USB-C ports to support charging of multiple devices simultaneously. Though it is still a 100 W charger, its power delivery will be split accordingly as shown by the bullet points below should more than one device be connected.

Each charger ships with a single 3-foot long USB-C to USB-C cable. During our time with both adapters, we were able to charge our Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 without any overheating or charge rate issues. We personally prefer the larger second model as its multiple USB ports can cover multiple users at a time when traveling with friends and family. In other words, you can simply bring one charger alongside multiple cables for everyone instead of separate chargers and cables for each device or user.

The single-port USB-C only model is now shipping on Amazon for $49 USD while the larger Pro model with both USB-C and USB-A is just $10 more. A current sale, however, knocks off $10 from the Pro model to be the same price as its smaller sibling.
