The ThinkPhone has leaked online again, approximately two months after Evan Blass first revealed details about the forthcoming smartphone. While Blass has not taken credit for these latest leaks, it appears that he has had a hand in them. Seemingly, the information has been pulled from an early ThinkPhone listing, with TheTechOutlook reporting several specifications as well as numerous marketing images.
To recap, Blass claimed in October that the ThinkPhone would launch with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, not the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Additionally, the leaker asserted that the handset would launch with up to 12 GB of RAM, with The Tech Outlook adding that an 8 GB of RAM edition will also be available. The ThinkPhone will utilise a 1080p display too, which The Tech Outlook believes measures 6.6-inches across and is based on a pOLED panel. For reference, the 50 MP primary, 13 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP depth of field cameras remain unchanged from October's leak, although the 16 MP front-facing sensor has reportedly made way for a 32 MP one.
The various marketing images also outline IP resistance of some sort, an in-display fingerprint scanner and file-sharing compatibilities with Lenovo laptops. Furthermore, it seems that the ThinkPhone will support wireless and 68 W fast charging. Unfortunately, neither The Tech Outlook nor Evan Blass has shared a release window yet, nor any pricing information. However, the ThinkPhone will arrive as a Motorola smartphone despite its obvious links with Lenovo, presumably because of the former's brand recognition as a smartphone manufacturer.
