Leaked renders for Motorola’s upcoming Moto G 5G indicate that the midranger will feature a rather strange dual front punch hole camera arrangement, along with a quad 48MP shooter on the rear. Details about the device are scarce, but we expect it to feature a midrange 5G Qualcomm chipset, such as the Snapdragon 690 5G.
Tipster @evleaks outed what appears to be renders for the upcoming Motorola Moto G 5G. The leaked renders showcase an unusual design with dual, horizontally aligned punch hole cameras on the front. Unlike devices like the OPPO Reno3, the Moto G 5G’s punch holes are separated by a few millimetres of display, resulting in an uncanny, eye-like appearance.
Apart from the dual punch hole design, the Moto G 5G appears to feature fairly conservative bezels with a substantial chin at the bottom and a quad 48MP camera arrangement on the back. The renders indicate that the Moto G 5G is relatively thick. This is likely indicator of a high battery capacity, something earlier Moto G series phones have featured.
Considering that this is a midrange 5G device, we believe it will likely feature one of Qualcomm’s budget-minded 5G chipsets, such as the recently announced Snapdragon 690 5G. We’ve yet to hear anything further about this device, but we will update you as soon as we do.
