The Amazon Luna game streaming service is now available
Amazon’s game streaming service, Luna, is now available to all customers in the mainland US. The games on the platform include Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Assasin’s Creed Valhalla and A Plague Tale: Innocence. Several subscription models are available to customers across a range of prices.
Luna lets you stream games at high quality, meaning you don’t need to wait for the game to download, and the games are always up to date. The service is available for Android, iOS, Chrome OS, macOS and Windows. You can also live broadcast to Twitch via Luna when using PC, Mac, Fire TV or Fire tablet devices.
To play, you can use a Luna controller or download the Luna Phone Controller app. Alternatively, you can play with a compatible controller, such as a keyboard and mouse or a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One Controller.
Amazon Prime members can play a monthly selection of games for free via the Prime Gaming Channel. The following games are included at no cost in March: Devil May Cry 5, Observer: System Redux, PHOGS!, Flashback, and Immortals Fenyx Rising.
A Luna+ subscription costs US$9.99 (~€9.01) per month. You can buy additional channels such as the Family Channel or Ubisoft+ Channel, ranging from US$4.99 to US$17.99 (~€4.50 to ~€16.22) per month. There is an introductory offer running until March 31st, allowing you to lock in a Luna+ subscription for US$5.99 (~€5.40). It is not currently clear when the service will be available for the rest of the world.
