Sun Joe 300 W portable power station can charge six devices simultaneously
The Sun Joe 300 W power station has been launched in the US. The gadget, which acts as an inverter and generator, has been released by Snow Joe, a brand known for its winter weather tools. The device has four slots to attach the company’s 24 V iON+ batteries, which will charge when plugged into a wall outlet. Alternatively, the attached batteries can power the gadget, allowing you to charge devices on the move. The battery packs are compatible with over 100 tools, from lawn mowers to power drills.
Multiple ports allow you to charge up to six devices simultaneously, with a 2.7 A AC output, two USB-A and two USB-C ports and a 10 W wireless charging pad. The power station’s capacity differs based on the type and number of connected power packs. For example, a single 2.0 Ah battery could fully recharge a smartphone three times, and a 5.0 Ah battery would allow you to charge the gadget seven times. The type of battery also affects its recharging time; a 2.0 Ah model requires 1 hr 25 min to charge, and a 5.0 Ah version takes around 3 hr 35 min.
The portable gadget measures 10 x 11.5 x 7-in (~254 x 292 x 178 mm), weighs 25 lbs (~11 kg) and has an integrated handle to make it easier to carry. You can buy the Snow Joe Sun Joe 300 W power station in the US for US$199. A bundle including the product and four 4.0 Ah battery packs is available for US$555.
