Steam has expanded its free games collection once again, and like every time, it did not take many of these new additions long to be discovered by gamers. Most of the new freebies were released in late October 2025 or in November 2025. Here are some that already have decent player ratings:
- Death Drive - released on October 31, it's a visual novel that's inspired by classic American Gothic fiction. This narrative-driven RPG currently has 51 player reviews, and 98% of them are positive.
- Loser Named Hana - another visual novel that launched on October 31, but this one currently sports 77 player reviews, and 94% of them are positive.
- Ye Guild Clerk! - a cozy point-and-click adventure with cartoonish visuals and over 40 endings. This free game made its Steam debut on October 29, and it currently flaunts an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating with over 200 reviews.
- Forbidden Terror: Board Game - a well-rated psychological horror with an immersive narration. This freebie was released on October 27, comes with full controller support (8Bitdo Pro 2 curr. $42.49 on Amazon), and sports a "Very Positive" rating with around 100 reviews.
- Pac-Snec - described as a hybrid of classic Pac-Man and Snake games with gameplay mechanics from both, it was released on November 1, and the free game currently has a 93% positive rating.
- DateBoy - a short comedy title that was released on November 5 as a free game on Steam. This indie entry currently boasts a 100% positive rating with around 110 reviews.
- Fish³: First Catch - a fishing simulator with retro-styled visuals and over 15 different sea creatures. This free game became available on November 7, and it currently has a "Positive" player rating on Steam.
- In Our Parlor - classified as a horror walking simulator, it's an atmospheric game with interesting gameplay. The freebie became available on November 5, and it now has an 89% positive rating that's based on around 40 reviews.
- Dream Slayers - an early access free game that's described as a fantasy-themed extraction RPG. This freebie launched on Steam on November 15, and it has a "Mostly Positive" player rating.
