Samsung releases USB adapter for Galaxy Tab 10.1
While the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is outfitted with excellent hardware, one feature is noticeably missing – a USB port. Samsung has quickly jumped to the solution by announcing a USB dongle for its tablet lineup.
The extension connects to the proprietary 30-pin connector on the Galaxy Tab and adds just 1 USB 2.0 port to the tablet. We imagine that a generic 4-port USB hub can then be connected as well, for those needing more USB ports. Otherwise, the adapter allows for USB hosting support so users can connect keyboards, flash drives, mice and a plethora or other USB devices to the tablet.
The USB dongle is now available online through Samsung for $20.

There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
