Alongside the new fanless ATIV One 9, Samsung also recently unveiled the 2015 edition of the ATIV One 7 all-in-one PC. According to the South Korean manufacturer, the new ATIV One 7 is the world's first all-in-one PC with a curved display.
The 2015 Samsung ATIV One 9 comes with a 27-inch curved LED display which runs a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. Samsung claims that the curved display boasts very wide viewing angles (178 degrees), good color reproduction, and a brightness of 300 nits, elements which translate into an immersive multimedia experience. Unfortunately, the display is not a touchscreen, meaning that the user's input will be based on the traditional mouse and keyboard.
Although the display is obviously the main attraction, the new Samsung ATIV One 7 also packs a serious punch when it comes to the available processing power. The system features an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 1TB hard drive.
Other specs include two 10W speakers which can be stream music from your smartphone even when the system is off, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and a 3-in-1 card reader.
Given that PC users typically sit very close to the display, Samsung might be on to something with this curved all-in-one PC. The curved Samsung ATIV One 7 will be on display next week at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, and we'll be there to test-drive the system.
