The first leaked images of this upcoming handset show what appear to be a frame made of aluminum and a 4.7-inch screen. Samsung Galaxy Alpha is expected to launch next month.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha, previously known as Samsung Galaxy Prime, has spent some time in the rumor mill already and now SamMobile have just received a set of live images that show the device. While there is no new information regarding the specs and features of the handset, this leak confirms two previous rumors concerning the size and design of the Galaxy Alpha.

Samsung will keep the faux leather back used by the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Note 3, but the Galaxy Alpha will also have aluminum sides. In addition to that, screen size is 4.7-inch and it is expected for the device to sell as another watered-down, cheaper Galaxy S5. Sources claim the device will be a step above the Galaxy S5 mini.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha will not have a microSD slot but will feature a fingerprint scanner and 32 GB of internal storage, rumors say. Unfortunately, nothing has been confirmed by Samsung yet but the images show what appears to be more than just a prototype, as you can see in SamMobile's exclusive images. It only remains to be seen if it launches in August as anticipated.
