Without much fanfare, Samsung Galaxy A20e was unveiled today as well, but not during the big Galaxy A launch event. This compact variant of the Galaxy A20, which features a 5.8-inch HD+ Infinity V display, has been silently introduced by Samsung Poland. However, there is no information regarding its availability yet.

Those who think that the Galaxy A20 is too large but would like to get the same specs in a more compact form factor will soon be able to do so thanks to the new Galaxy A20e — at least if they live in Poland. The Samsung Galaxy A20e was silently unveiled in the European country earlier today, discovered SamMobile.

The most obvious change comes in the display department since the Galaxy A20e goes down to 5.8 inches from the 6.4-inch display of the Galaxy A20. The new handset's Infinity V Super AMOLED display has a resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels. The other specs come without any changes, and even the cameras are the same: an 8 MP selfie shooter and a 13 + 5 MP image snapper on the back. The Exynos 7884 processor is teamed up with 3 GB of memory and 32 GB of expandable storage (microSD cards up to 512 GB in size are supported).

Due to the smaller size, the Galaxy A20e also comes with a smaller battery with a capacity of 3,000 mAh. Thankfully, Samsung has not removed the 15 W fast charging capabilities. The handset measures 5.8 x 2.74 x 0.33 inches and the only two color choices are white and black. If you were wondering, it is also good to know that the operating system that comes onboard is based on Android 9.0 Pie — with Samsung's One UI on top.

The Galaxy A20e has no launch date or pricing yet, but it will probably hit other markets in the coming weeks as well. We will get back to it as soon as it happens, so stay tuned.
