Russian retailer leaks the Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos

Teaser
An online retailer from Russia has leaked the Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos. As the name suggests, the new S6 version comes with dual-SIM support.

With a few weeks to go before Samsung launches the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, a Russian online retailer leaked a new "Duos" variant of the flagship.

Dual-SIM capabilities aside, we can't notice any difference between the Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos and the standard version of the flagship. The S6 Duo is listed with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels (Quad HD), an Exynos 7420 chipset with an octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, a touch-based fingerprint scanner integrated in the physical home button, a 16MP primary camera with optical image stabilization on the back, and a 5MP secondary shooter on the front.

Since the Galaxy S6 Duos will integrate a secondary SIM card slot, this version of the Samsung flagship is expected to be more expensive than the regular version. The 32GB version of the Galaxy S6 Duos is listed at a price of RUB 49,999 (about $843), while the 64GB version is listed at a price of RUB 52,990 (roughly $893). Bear in mind that smartphones are usually priced a bit steeper in Russia than most Western markets.

At the moment, it us unknown when the Samsung Galaxy S6 Duo will become available for purchase, as the South Korean manufacturer has yet to officially announce the new version of its flagship smartphone. The Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge are scheduled to launch on April 10 in most markets around the globe.
