MWC 2013 | Quad-core Grand Memo smartphone released by ZTE

Teaser
ZTE's giant 5.7" smartphone comes with Dolby Digital Plus sound and a 13MP camera

Just as its name indicates, ZTE's Grand Memo is an XXL smartphone with a grand size. Unveiled here at MWC, the 8.5mm phone features an impressive display size of 5.7 inches, but only a 1200x720 pixel resolution.

On the inside, the Grand Memo is the first smartphone packing Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 as well as Dolby Digital Plus sound. In addition, the giant includes 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and an impressive 13MP rear camera with 1080p video capabilities. The device does run Android 4.1 as on OS, but ZTE's custom Mifavor UI is the actual face of the device.

Other features include LTE, WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a powerful 3200 mAh battery. The Grand Memo should be available in China very soon, but it likely won't reach the rest of the world till sometime in the second half of 2013.
