Pictures of alleged Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini leak online

The Galaxy Note 5 has been making waves over the past few days through its leaks and rumors. Now the supposed Galaxy S6 Mini is getting a chance at the spotlight with its own leaked photos.

According to the photo, the design of the smartphone corresponds to the Galaxy S6 as expected but with a smaller chassis and 4.7-inch 720p display. Its processor is expected to be a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 SoC with 2 GB RAM and a 15 MP rear camera. Like the original Galaxy S6, the Mini may not have a removable battery or MicroSD expansion slot.

If the technical data proves true, then this would indicate a change in strategy for Samsung. "Mini" versions of flagship smartphones typically have much weaker processors, but the Snapdragon 808 is very powerful and even powers the recent LG G4.

No information yet on the launch date, price, or even reveal of the Galaxy S6 Mini.
