The Oukitel is an epic phone, the battery life is absolutely insane. Oukitel seems to have listened to consumers and instead of going “thinner and lighter” they opted for a bigger battery and bigger phone that just works so well and fits and feels even better. While by no means can the K6000 Pro compete with the high-end smartphones from Apple, Samsung etc performance wise – it’s no slouch. And when the Big Boys run flat, your trusty K6000 Pro will happily pick them up, charge them full and still outlast them again.

Oukitel K6000 Plus
In the android space where Samsung often dominates the world of android devices there are usually smaller manufacturers who try to best Samsung in their game, one such manufacturer is Oukitel with their K6000 Plus. One major gripe of most mobile devices these days tends to be the battery capacity and Oukitel hopes to deliver with its phone’s massive capacity of 6000 mAh. Despite the battery’s capable capacity, it is still quite reasonably thin though with its massive capacity the phone is actually quite hefty tipping the scales at 207 grams. While this phone is marketed as a budget device Oukitel has actually invested a bit in making this device look and feel premium with its aluminium frame and construction accented with a plastic top and bottom to improve the antenna’s reception. In terms of hardware the Oukitel K6000 Plus sports a MediaTek MT6750T Octocore processor and has 4GB of memory, it also has 64GB of inbuilt storage for those who like to store photos and videos on their devices with the possibility of expansion through a micro SDXC memory card. Another feature of most Chinese phones is the ability to accommodate dual sim cards however should the user need to expand on storage one of the sim slots will end up being used for the microSDXC card instead which is quite disappointing considering other dual sim devices usually allow the use of both dual sim cards and a memory expansion card. Moving on to connectivity, the K6000 Plus has support for LTE however the wireless module included only supports up to the N standard opposed to the already proliferating AC standard but this should not be a problem since the Wi-Fi N standard still provides a reasonable connectivity speed. While the K6000 Plus is considered a budget phone it still packs a reasonably bright and vivid 5.5-inch FHD IPS screen which should be suffice under most lighting conditions. In terms of touch sensitivity, the K6000 Plus is also quite accurate with minimal input lag. Naturally with most smartphones these days a front facing camera is considered the norm however as with budget phones corners tend to be cut with a low-quality camera sensor, this isn’t the case with Oukitel including a 16-megapixel camera sensor which actually delivers in well-lit conditions although there are some exceptions where occasionally pictures tend to be blurred. In contrast with its front facing 8-megapixel camera quality seems to take an awkward nosedive but should be fine for most purposes. For software, the K6000 Plus actually runs Android 7.0 at almost stock configurations which means bloatware is kept to a minimum although Oukitel did include a special app for alternate themes, some touch gestures and some floating shortcut based apps, otherwise this version of Android 7.0 runs rather smoothly. Finally, to actually address the actual feature of the phone which is battery life, not surprisingly with its fat 6000 mAh battery the K6000 Plus was able to last 2 days straight even on load, and if the user is conservative the battery is capable of lasting 4 days on a single charge. All in all, for what’s worth Oukitel did deliver on its primary promise or longer battery life even if the rest of the hardware isn’t exactly industry breaking. Cram-packed. The Chinese smartphone presents decent figures on paper, such as 4 gigabytes of RAM, 64 gigabytes of storage, a 16-megapixel camera, and a strong battery. Is the additionally attractive smartphone also a power bundle in practice?

Oukitel K10000 Pro
Who says battery life has to suffer when you can just cram mAh after mAh to your heart’s desire, Oukitel agrees with that too, with the resurrection of the Oukitel K10000 taking form this time as the Oukitel K10000 Pro. Taking a look at the Oukitel physically the K10000 Pro is a gob smacking 14 mm thick and weighs about 288 g which is blasphemous for a phone in 2017 when slim and slimmer is all the rage. Along with its heft the chassis looks durable and strong enough to withstand drops. Despite its beefy build the K10000 isn’t exactly the prettiest phone out there with the chassis being made out of metal and Australian calf leather make it look a bit gaudy. While its battery might be impressive the K10000 is a little disappointing as it lacks basic 2017 components such as NFC and LTE connectivity nonetheless the 5.5-inch FHD screen is about decent with good viewing angles but there seems to be a slight blue tint which might bother some people. Moving to IO the K10000 seems to disappoint even further with no implementation of USB type C and to make matters worse even as a microUSB port the port is recessed which means your standard microUSB connector would be unable to reach it save for the included cable. This almost makes it pseudo proprietary which can annoy some users. In terms of software the K10000 is pre-installed with Android 7 Nougat although not exactly the latest since the current update is 7.1.1 at the time of this writing. But that shouldn’t be an issue since it can be updated. What’s more the included Android is actually bloatware free which is a plus point considering how many Android manufacturers like to cram useless software into the phone. As for the camera, the K10000’s camera is sort of average making users crave for more, despite being a 13-megapixel camera it seems very uncalibrated with focus being a guessing game and lighting being a mess. Colors are sort of washed out which deteriorates the shooting experience. As the K10000 is marketed as having the biggest battery in the smartphone market it should be a given that it would most definitely outlast its competitors alike hands down marking in about 5 days of usage on a single charge which is very impressive although with a variety of hardware and software kinks it seems to undermine its selling point. To wrap it up while the battery size and life are impressive the performance of the device is somewhat lackluster. Hands-on article by Jagadisa RajarathnamSpecifications

It's quite obvious that the main selling point of Oukitel's K10000 Pro is its battery capacity and, quite frankly, it delivers on that front. Without a doubt, I've not used any other smartphone that can last as long between charges without having to resort to activating power saving features or being ultra-conservative with usage. While its lack of water and dust resistance may not make it a great choice for extended or treacherous treks outside, the Pro's big battery and ability to charge other devices may well be appealing to that segment of the market.

Oukitel K5000
The Oukitel K5000 is yet another smartphone inspired by the Samsung Galaxy S8's full-screen design. It combines a big 5.7-inch display and a massive 5000-mAh battery with a slim body, which can be held in one hand. Moreover, the device comes with narrow bezels, virtual keys, and a concealed proximity sensor. Oukitel practically inserted the 5.7-inch large display into a body which is smaller than the traditional 5.5-inch phone. Apart from large display and large battery, the K5000 also comes with large flash memory, a great camera, and a fashionable double curved design. The Oukitel K5000 comes in 3 colors: Brilliant Blue, Jet Black, and Champagne Gold. The 5.7-inch panel of the new Oukitel K5000 has been dubbed an "infinite screen" thanks to a 90% occupancy on the front of the device. A thin blade of Dragontrail glass protects it against bumps and scratches. On the other hand, users will enjoy their favorite videos, series, and games in all their splendour thanks its HD+ resolution of 1.440 x 720 pixels, wide aspect ratio of 18:9, and wide viewing angles of 178º. In addition, it has a double 3D curvature and slightly rounded corners to facilitate the grip of the device even with one hand. The benefits of the Oukitel K5000 extend to its interior, where there is the high-performance MTK6750T octa-core processor running at 1.5 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and a Mali T860 MP2 graphics coprocessor. Its storage capacity is 64 GB and it can be expanded by 64 GB with a microSD card of this capacity. Here there is a Sony IMX 135 16 MP rear camera and Samsung 3P3 selfie camera on the front side with nothing more and nothing less than 21 MP. Its Dual LED Flash configuration will be very useful when users are in low light environments. Locking and unlocking the Oukitel K5000 is much faster and easier thanks to the fingerprint reader located at the back of the terminal, just below the main sensor. The battery of 5,000 mAh integrated into the new Oukitel is, by far, one of its best-kept secrets. In specific numbers, users will benefit from a range of up to 3 days of light use. Its Pump Express fast charging technology will allow users to recharge it much faster than usual, through the USB Type C input located at the bottom of the mobile phone. Network connections are provided by 4G technologies (through its Nano SIM Dual slot), Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n operating at high speed. The smartphone also has a single Type-C USB port designed to transfer content to and from the mobile and connect compatible headphones to enjoy a better sound quality than the conventional 3.5 mm jack output. The Oukitel K5000 is well equipped phone for its price but its less creative design might put prospective buyers off as it can be seen as a Samsung S8 clone. Bagging on a tagline, “Endurance King, Never Stop!”, the Oukitel K10 satisfies what mobile users crave for these days which is good battery life. Launched in January 2018, the Oukitel K10 comes in two distinct colors; which are black and gold. It works on a non-removable 11,000 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery. Twinned with the functionalities of an intelligent power saving mode, it offers a significant battery life. Thus, it is known to lasts for days. Specifically, around 2 to 3 days of usage for users who utilize their mobile devices more, and a week for users who utilize their device sparsely. The Oukitel K10 sure sparks interest in the market especially for its selling price point. With quick charge technology, the Oukitel K10 would be functioning at its full rate of 100 percent in 2 hours and 15 minutes. The design of the Oukitel K10, sure is interesting. It has a new prismatic craft that combines the dragontrail glass and a magnesium alloy that lines seemlessly. The back cover however, holds another interesting prospect. It is slathered with real calf leather imported all the way from Australia. The Oukitel K10 operates with Android 7.1 Nougat, and also runs on a MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core processor with an Arm Mali-G71 GPU, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in memory. The Oukitel K10 is also accompanied with a hybrid dual SIM (Nano+Nano/microSD), dual Standby, and external memory support up to 128 GB, which uses the SIM 2 slot. The display is in the newer 18:9 aspect ratio. It is a 6-inch, Full HD+ display with bright and vivid colors. The Oukitel K10 has a 21 MP plus 8 MP dual-lens rear camera and a 13 MP plus 8 MP dual-lens front camera for greater selfies. It supports GSM, W-CDMA, LTE, 3G, 4G, WiFi, FM radio, GPS, and Bluetooth. At the back is a fingerprint sensor which is quite fast like most Chinese smartphones. The Oukitel K10 is certainly a device with one of the best battery life. Its high specs with affordable price also makes it as a major appeal to those who are looking for a mid-range phone. Hands-on article by Jagadisa RajarathnamSpecifications

Big, clunky, and enduring. Oukitel not only claims extremely long battery life for the K10 but also plenty of performance and amazing cameras. At 11,000 mAh, the battery's capacity is bigger than on some notebooks, but can the 6-inch smartphone deliver? Let us find out.

74.67%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
