With less than two weeks until the premiere of One Punch Man Season 3, fans are growing increasingly restless over the lack of a full trailer. Despite concerns, the official Japanese site has confirmed that the new season will stream starting in October across major platforms.

One Punch Man Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in October 2025, but no full-length trailer has been released yet with mere weeks before the premiere day knocks on our doors. So far, two ads, 15 and 30 seconds in length, a short “PV1” clip, and a 2022 announcement video are all that's been made public. Many fans believe promotion efforts this reserved lag far behind the high excitement for the new season.

The lack of a proper trailer has sparked both amusement and frustration across the community. In a Reddit thread discussing the 30-sec TV ad clip, many fans expressed their thoughts on the matter. Bonvantius joked, “Can’t wait for ONE FRAME MAN to join the ranks of Seven Deadly Frames and Frame Lock,” poking fun at the limited animation shown so far. Others voiced deeper concerns. Grutrissheit remarked, “You know something is up when the trailer for an action anime barely showed any movements.”

Some fans worry about the studio’s handling of the project. TheEVILPINGU recalled, “OPM Season 1 is a global phenomenon… I can’t fathom how they could butcher a series like this with such a low budget.” Mr_Wanwanwolf-san added, “Anyone else wish they would just stop making seasons until they can do it right? You’d think they’d treat a series this popular with more care.”

Some are being more hopeful, despite the tension building up. opkpopfanboyv3 said, “They’re all just… walking lol. I’m rooting for the director, but right now this looks like the replacement of PNG Lock.”

Even with criticism, the excitement is still there. MassiveBlackHole99 said, “OPM is literally popular everywhere even in Japan, it’s honestly a shame this is happening to the series.” viciadoemsono put the frustration simply: “So why rush these seasons out at all? Because money.”

According to the official Japanese site, One Punch Man Season 3 begins streaming on October 12, 2025 in Japan and will be available across major platforms including Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, U-NEXT, Disney Plus Star, and Abema. Internationally, distribution is confirmed on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S. and Canada, Crunchyroll across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, Sony Yay in South Asia, Catchplay in Taiwan, and Bilibili in Southeast Asia, ensuring broad global availability.
