The manufacturer Nubia, which is known for its gaming smartphones, has entered the market of gaming laptops with its RedMagic Titan 16 Pro: Core i9, a GeForce RTX 4060 and a 16-inch display (QHD+, DCI-P3, 240 Hz, G-Sync) all promise a solid mid-range device. Reviewing the Red Magic Titan 16 Pro gaming laptop, one of the more affordable beefy gamer options of 2024. I've been testing the Red Magic Titan 16 Pro this past week, with the obligatory benchmarking of course, so here's my verdict on this gaming notebook. This all-metal laptop is powered by an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor, backed by single channel 16GB DDR5 RAM. This appears to be a bottleneck when benchmarking although thankfully the Red Magic Titan 16 Pro still handled the games I tried. Helldivers 2 ran with a smooth 60FPS rate on the highest graphics settings, while Forza Horizon also played perfectly on the Ultra level. If you want a gaming laptop for under £2000, you get some solid action and capable cooling with the Red Magic Titan 16 Pro. That display is a stunner, while the stereo speakers are fine (but yeah, use a headset). And you'll probably run out of storage space pretty quick, with only 1TB available for your games.

16.00":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
