A newly emerged Intel roadmap discussed its post-2027 plans, with the Titan Lake architecture expected to arrive featuring a whopping 100 CPU cores on a single die. Meanwhile, noted X leaker has shed light on a more immediate product, specifically one that directly counters one of AMD's most powerful laptop offerings.
Dubbed Nova Lake-AX, it will be Intel's competitor for Strix Halo-type chips. Of course, by the time it actually launches in 2026-27, Medusa Halo should be out and about for a while. Unfortunately, Jaykihn doesn't have any more information about Nova Lake-AX at the moment. As a part of the Nova Lake lineup, it will likely feature a mix of Coyote Cove P-cores and Arctic Wolf E-cores.
Of course, the real magic will lie in its GPU and memory. Strix Halo offered up to 128 GB of 256-bit memory along with a 40 CU RDNA 3.5 iGPU. Intel will have to offer something similar, if not better, to keep up with Team Red. Now that JEDEC has certified LPDDR6 memory, there's a good chance Intel might use it for a competitive advantage.
That leaves us with its iGPU. A 20 Xe core SKU based on Intel's Celestial architecture would seem plausible. As far as TDP is concerned, 100+ Watts will be a bare minimum because of Nova Lake-AX's position as a high-performance product.
