Based in Illinois, United States, NewerTech is supposedly the first company to develop and sell memory products for the Macintosh line of PCs during the 80s. Today, it has a wide range of goods to sell and one of those caught our attention. If you are looking for a more cost-efficient replacement battery, NewerTech claims it has exactly what you need.
The NuPower is a high-capacity Lithium-ion battery which apparently uses top tier cells and is “designed, engineered, and manufactured to deliver long run times”. Furthermore, according to the manufacturer these replacement batteries are built to last longer and deliver more use cycles before becoming extinct.
Reportedly, the 58 Watt-hour battery offers up to 87% more capacity and can be yours for US $99, which is about 23% less than what you have to pay at Apple’s Store.
